When writing learning objectives/outcomes for a course or program, it goes without saying that they have to be measurable in order to assess whether the learning has been successful and how that translates to ROI. However, when writing learning objectives, it can sometimes be difficult to come up with different illustrative verbs to avoid repeating the same one over and over, e.g. identify, demonstrate, etc. As a rule, try not to use the same verb more than once in a set of objectives. While this is sometimes unavoidable, this list will help inject some variety into otherwise repetitive bullets. |
