If you would like to submit an article for publication on our website, please ensure you comply with the guidelines listed below. Articles which do not meet these requirements, or that are submitted directly via email will be rejected. Who are the target audience? The people who visit our website and subscribe to our newsletter are people development professionals. They are a mix of trainers, facilitators, coaches, HR managers and people managers. What are they looking for? They want to learn, not be sold to. We don't accept advertorials on the site. We publish informative, well written articles relating to any area of learning and development in the workplace. How long should my article be?Minimum length is 300 words. We have no maximum, but bear in mind that visitors will be reading online, so 3000 words is probably a bit much! What format should my article be submitted in?We accept documents in .TXT or Word format. Please keep formatting simple, e.g. bullets, bold, italic, underline. We don't accept PDF documents because we can't optimise them to be found by search engines. If you have an article published on our site we want to make sure people find it! Do you proof-read articles before they get published?Alas, we don't have the time or the skills to proof-read or edit articles, so please make sure this has been done before you submit your piece for consideration. What acknowledgment do I get as the author? At the bottom of the article, we include a short bio (which you send us with the article) and a link back to your website. Okay, I'm ready to submit my article - what now?Use the form below to send your article to us. You'll be contacted by one of our team once we've reviewed your piece to discuss publication.
If you have any other questions around getting your article published on our site, please contact us. |
